Welcome to AARTS
The Ashland Amateur Radio Technical Society is dedicated to serving the
amateur radio community and the general public in East Central Indiana. The
club operates under the call sign of KC9GCD.
AARTS will be holding its regular business every month, which will be on March 11, 2008.
The meeting starts promptly at 6:00 PM local time, this will be conducted at the Henry County Emergency Management Office 107 S. 12th St. with a business meeting followed by a program of interest to Amateur Radio Operators.
The club also sponsors an Information Net and swap meet every
Friday evening at 6:00 PM local time on the club 2-meter Simplex 147.510 MHz. All licensed amateurs are encouraged to join the

Want
to become a HAM?
Interested in becoming a HAM? This is easier then ever, and inexpensive.
AARTS will eventually conduct
these
license training class on a regular basis. These classes will be
designed for anyone wanting to become a General or Extra Class and cover the subjects of radio
theory, rules and regulations. Upon successful completion of the
classes, the students are qualified to pass the General or Extra level Amateur
Radio license test. In the next couple of weeks we will be looking at class scheduling. Stay Tuned!!!
